When I first looked at my storage unit I realized it was too small so I spoke to Joe in the office. He was extremely friendly and helpful by finding me a storage unit twice the size of what I was looking for but still on ground level. Because of his customer service would definitely refer your company to other friends and family.

Great storage space. Wide variety of sizes with indoor or outdoor units. Passcode to open the gate let's you come and go when you like, not limited to the workshift of a gatekeeper. Only complaint is limited parking both outside the gate and inside.

On March 30, 2021 I hurriedly went to my storage locker. I opened it and had to climb over a mountain of stuff to get to what I needed😳! It wasn’t there AND my loc barrel fell off my key ring and into the great abyss of junk!☹️ I couldn’t lock my locker back😳 I knocked on the darkened office door. Tracy interrupted her Lunch and helped me get a new lock! I was so grateful! Yay‼️

I just wanted to say how helpful Amy was with my move/transition to storage. This is my first time having to use a storage facility and I had priced and seen many places. Moving is very stressful but she was so kind, professional and answered all of my questions which helped take a huge burden off of my shoulders. I even witnessed her training a newer employee one of the days I was there and was very patient and kind. Great job to a wonderful person!

Went to rent a unit here yesterday, Amy was very nice explained I would be back later or next day came back same day unit I needed was rented then wanted to up the size I did not need. Did not ask me what I was storing. Went to different PS he (Michael) had everything I needed.

UPDATE from below issue which was apparently due to a staff member not usually at this location: we did have a miscommunication issue but Amy the manager was off for the 2 days we had this issue (just our luck) and once she returned this morning within the first not even 20 minutes she called to rectify the situation... HER customer service gets a 10 out if 5 because she was definitely ON IT. This explains why this location has such great reviews. Thanks Amy! Previous issue: Online move in process was great. My family has had a storage unit here for about 2 years...no issues. Then I decided to get another unit. Unfortunately, the gate is broken so when I went back to put things in the unit I couldn't get in the gate. Came back in the morning before work to try again, still no luck getting in. Turns out the gate is broken and we weren't told this when getting the unit. I dont mind the gate being broken- thats perfectly out of their control and they will be fixing it within about 10 days they said. My issue is with the fact that I wasn't notified, the sign on the gate remains indicating that it is open from 6am to 9pm, so twice I went within that time frame and couldn't get through. After calling this morning the person answering talked over us and wouldn't let us explain that the sign on the gate should indicate the ACTUAL CURRENT TIMES YOU CAN ENTER. Literally she hung up after talking over us and saying what she had to say. Now all my stuff has been sitting in a car overnight which isn't safe, and my one request that the times on the gate AND the website be reflective of actual times you can enter the property went unheard. Tried calling general customer service but it just loops you back to your local one. Again- the issue isn't in the gate being broken its the lack of competence and ability to effectively communicate current changes in time. I'm going to need them to get it together and do better.

The staff here are VERY FRIENDLY! The woman at the front even helped me to bring my storage down the day I was moving it. The facilities are EXTREMELY CLEAN as well and the air conditioning is very well temperature controlled! I was not worried about anything happening to my belongings! I would definitely recommend this place and wouldn't hesitate to use them again. 5/5

Had to edit my original review from 2018. Left this location and company for a new one. Horribly managed. Rent was raised considerably at least every other month, the front gate was off track and inoperable for the last 2 full months of our lease and we we’re never told why or when it was going to be fixed until I asked an employee. We were told ‘sorry a storm knocked it off track and it’ll be fixed soon.’ 2 months later its still not working. No rebate or discount of any kind was offered even though ‘Security’ was one of their most boasted about features, just all around abysmal customer service. This place is a legitimate joke. I’d recommend a cubesmart or uHaul unit over publicstorage any day.

Better priced than others. Clean grounds (and bathroom). Hard to lift your heavy stuff inside to your unit because there's a ledge when leading inside. You do have to buy the lock though.

Amy the manager is nothing short of phenomenal! She found us the perfect unit and we signed the rental agreement, all in under 10 minutes. The whole experience was easy and painless. I would highly recommend!

I have had a storage unit in many places, through the years and I have been here now, for 7 months. This is the best storage place I have had by far. Very well kept and the manager Amy is the nicest person you have ever met. I highly recomend this storage facility to anyone, who is looking for a well kept and secure area, along with very polite personel to assist you.

Do not rent a storage unit at this location. When I realized that the person in the unit next to mine was inside his unit smoking and therefore since the top is open between each unit, my unit smelled of cigarette smoke. When I questioned the manager of the facility she said he has the right to smoke there. I quess I have no right to not want my belongings to smell like cigarette smoke. When there is a fire from careless smoking, I am going to sue Public Storage. They aren't the least bit concerned. The only reason there is one star is because the website wouldn't let me post this review until I gave the business at least one star.

Since Amy came to the Voorhees location, she has been wonderful and helpful. There has been a lot of improvements. I had an unit upstairs. At that time, the AC was broken and she was nice enough to get me water. She got the problem solved right away. She deserves a raise and is a trusted employee! :)

Today my friend dropped me off at the new unit he rented here at public storage because he asked me to organize the items he had just moved into the unit. He neglected to tell me that he wouldn't be back for 4 hours. I think my feet and hands were purple about an hour later. I've rented at public storage before in Havertown, PA and it took 38 minutes just to carry a box cause my unit was so far away AND my unit costs almost twice as much as the one my friend rented here in voorhees. His unit is literally 3 doors from the entrance and you open right up to the unit. Basically, Amy not only let me sit in the store to get warm for as long as I needed, she also is one of the most genuine, sweet, helpful and down to earth people you will meet. Having spent YEARS dealing with a competitor's storage facility, I finally made the switch just a few weeks ago over to the Public Storage in Voorhees. It was like night and day. The location itself is very accessible and well-lit, meaning my wife and daughters can go there after sunset without me being worried that they'll not make it home safely. Most importantly -to me, anyway- was the fact that the location seems to be managed well. The staff was not just friendly, but knowledgable and helpful. The office area was clean, free of clutter, and the staff clearly not only enjoyed but took pride in their work. That is true customer service; something that is sadly lacking in this day and age. I've already recommended the facility to friends and family, and I look forward to a long term stay. Thank you, THANK YOU for such a great place to store my stuff!!

The service is pretty decent. I have an inside unit and the doors to get into the building jam quite often leaving no options but to just yank and bang until the door opens. Also, the place closes @9pm (I think) if you are not out by the time the facility "shuts down" you're stuck inside. I asked an employee over the phone what are my options if this ever happened and she said "you would have to leave your car and exit through the pedestrian entryway and get your vehicle the next day" that was the WORST answer ever!!! I had an issue there before after all employees left and getting a hold of someone was extremely difficult! Thank goodness it wasn't an extreme issue. The website has one # that gives you another # which isn't the # plastered on the front of the gate when you pull up which also isn't the # given to me by an on-site employee. If the phone number issue was in order I would give them 4 stars but the 5 stars cannot be obtained when you are an insured storage facility without 24hour service and then you have to leave your car if you attempt to leave after hours. Good luck leaving as a pedestrian on the HIGHWAY!

Spoke with both the district manager Kat and office manager Amy who handled my problem very quickly. I couldn't believe how fast and quickly they resolved my sensitive issue. I meant a lot. We will continue to remain their with them.
